SUN May 10th

Weather still poor in Sydney. Managed to get a couple of shots with the 72mm and 120mm scopes using my Canon 600D DSLR. Would have loved to have been able to take a video with the ZWO camera but it was not to be.

Awful weather and forecast for Sydney...hence it's great to see someone catching this massive spot (apparently naked...well..filtered...eye visible)

styruuth, noice image and up there with the biggest spots I've ever seen.

Good work under the conditions Richard, I like that you have resolved the solar granulation and as Derek mentions, including the Earth for a size comparison is gob-smacking.
