It looks like things are finally moving on the Astro-Physics Command Center (APCC). It's been promised to be just a few weeks away for the last three years or more! I have just got an email from Asro-Physics saying that they were sending out the V-chip which is needed for APCC.

Nice. Got my V chip a month or so ago.

Regarding APCC, the last AP GTO Yahoo group chatter indicated it was close, but no exact date provided... The update came from Marg herself.

I'm getting excited too :)

Found it. From 22 August 2014:

As Ray stated below, APCC itself is ready. I would like to have just a bit more time for the newest GTOCP3 firmware to be used before we make it available for upgrades. The newest version will be required for APCC. All customers who have either the S chip or later versions are eligible for a free upgrade. You will be contacted when we are ready to release the newest version.

If you did not purchase your mount directly from us, we encourage you to register the mount in your own name, if you have not done so already. If you do not have a copy of the registration form that we ship with our mounts, please follow the link below to download.

Mount Registration Form: http://www.astro-physics.com/tech_support/mounts/mount_reg_form.pdf

You may either send by mail to the address below, fax to the number below or scan and e-mail it to mountreg at astro-physics.com.

In the meantime, Howard is updating the manual with current screen shots and more complete explanations. I believe this is almost complete. There are also a few changes that need to be made to the website and the download site that we will be using for online ordering.

Assuming all goes as planned, we expect to release in a few weeks.

Clear Skies,

Marj Christen

Finally released! I've browsed through the documentation and it looks like a monumental piece of software. The sort of over the top excellence you expect from AP.

Geoff

Where did you find the documentation?

Can't see it under support.

Have you been provide the trail/download link?

Cheers

I got this link in a recent email from AP
http://www.astro-physics.com/tech_support/apcc/apcc-download.htm

I think it was sent out to all those who already have the V chip
Geoff

BTW the link above gives a PayPal link to purchase. I have to say that the PayPal exchange rate is horrendous---80c for the US dollar. I can't believe that's correct, so I'm going to ring PayPal to see if there's a glitch somewhere. Note added: It's not PayPal it's AP---see here http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=1128596#post112859 6

I have the new V chip, but I only 'registered' for APCC this weekend, via the AP form.

Thanks for link.
