I've upgraded to a C6 so this excellent little telescope is now surplus to requirements.
It's the 'classic' black tube model from the 1990s, originally sold with an EQ mount as the G5 (see attached sample image - not the actual scope for sale).
Condition is excellent. It was serviced and cleaned 2-3 years ago before I acquired it and has been only lightly used since then. Optically it's very good and performs like the scope reviewed on Astromart in 2007 (https://astromart.com/reviews/telescopes/cats/show/review-of-the-celestron-c5-classic).
Included in the sale are:
C5 OTA with short Vixen dovetail bar
Metal front cover
1.25" visual back
6x30 finderscope & bracket
Vixen/Synta style finder dovetail base (glued on at 45° to the Celestron finder position)
Home-made foam dew-shield (slides over the OTA and also insulates the tube)
* There is no mount, eyepiece or diagonal included.
