Anyone remember how to get 2 monitors from the one graphics card showing the same thing? (clone)

My observatory PC used to work this way, but since changes it's gone to "side by side" mode. I can't seem to work out how to get it back to clone mode such that each screen is showing the same thing.

The card is a NVIDIA, the OS is Win XP.

I've tried a few suggestions from google searches without success.

Thanks,
Roger.

I use the clone method with my lappy. (using XP Pro)

To change from split mode to clone mode I just go into: Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced, then click on Monitor number 1, then click 'OK'.

Hmm,

That didn't work for me... but I went and found a new copy of the NVIDIA software. Upon installation it works fine... and hace loads more features to make it easy for the next time. It's easy with this new software, just click clone mode! It's amazing what changes there are in 3 years that you have one copy of software :)

Always keep software drivers for 3d cards NVidia and ATI up to date. They change almost monthly. 3D cards have huge potential, but the drivers and software is almost like complier theory; its hard to optimise, so alot of work goes into it.

From first release of a new card to 4 months later performance may go up 30% or more.
