Seeing as Sleeping in Seattle is on the tube tonight, which I will be watching, I thought I'd pose the question.

I liked her best in "The Doors" with Val Kilmer (hmmm Val Kilmer)

Fair enough to have a completely off-topic post, but this one is simply BAD TASTE!!!!
Cheers,

Can't go past Sleepless in Seattle (I think poor old Walter was the character most likely to be an amateur astronomer)...
My favourite was I.Q. (1994). The highlight was Walter Matthau's role as Albert Einstein!
Regards, Rob
My favourite is definitely 'When Harry Met Sally'. It's a rom/com that even men can enjoy. The Tom Hanks ones are certainly 'chick flicks'.

You left out the one with Nicholas Cage as an Angel and her the Doctor (the poor hollywood remake of Wings of Desire).
PS
I used to say the best Kevin Costner film was The Big Chill - can you spot him, he's the corpse! He was so new then his names never made the credits even. Actually half his movies are fine and half are dogs.
After seeing her performance on Parkinson, I prefer anything that doesn't have her in it.

"French Kiss" since Kline is quite good in it. :)

They are all shockers, mind numbing rhubarb. (Sadly I have seen them all, earning brownie points for astro purchases....'I think thats her best one yet dear, can't wait for the next one....':))

It doesn't need the "After seeing her performance on Parkinson". The rest says it all.
Now it you were to have her doing Jane Austen (SWMBO's favourites) I think it might be time to slit my wrists.

Yep, thats about it ! Way to sensitive etc type films for me.My wife and daughters love this type of thing.I would rather wrestle a salt water Croc.I think the Poll results bare this out.

 It's definitely a chick thing. Most of 'em still think they're going to get romance in this life. Watching movies like this is their way of keeping the dream alive. (poor deluded things)

Meg Ryan films. Really? Soon we will be discussing Bette Midler in Beaches - now that's a woman!

I agree that romantic comedies are generally chick flicks, but they really float my boat, and I am a guy! :D
Romance + comedy, a terrific combination. ;)

...well happy to report that the dream is still and well alive after 16 years of marriage around my neck of the woods...I understand why the romance is lost on those who haven't been so lucky, though.

We obviously need some images to catch Mick and Rob's attention. Here we go, romance at it's best!
