Was in my bed last night, with the rising moon outside my window, casting some nice moonlight across my bed and bedroom. I don't know, but I find this very enjoyable and love the atmosphere it creates.
What about you, do you like the moonlight flooding your room or prefer to keep the blinds closed?

I like a window open any time of the year and moonlight wouldn't bother me

The sodium vapour streetlight 6 metres from my bedroom window makes it hard to see any moonlight. :(
Love it, I wish I had a glass roof in the rig, to watch the night sky while lying in bed, how cool would that be, but the dear wife wont have a bar of it.

 Leon you could install a huge sliding sunroof in that rig of yours, & claim its for ventilation ;)
was out till 3.00 am last night, I can still see the LMC naked eye in the moonlight here.
The Alpaca's were running around in the moonlight as well. :screwy:
They usually just sit around in one spot when it's truley dark.

I too like the moon light through my window.. What worries me more is to see moonshine going out of a window. Some things cannot be un-seen

Not usually no, I like to have darkness when I sleep but lately we have been sleeping with the blinds open and I find I am becoming used to the night time light.

I love moonlight coming through the window, but the wife likes the curtains closed and total darkness. The wife wins and Luna and I lose ... anything for a quiet life and a happy wife:lol:
I like a dark room, but would love to see the moon shining through the window.
Unfortunately my bedroom window faces south, so that never happens.

I like DARK!
I have trouble sleeping with any faint light.
Darker the better

Until I moved into my current residence, I was use to a fairly dark location. It took me quite a while to get used to sleeping with a bright light just outside.
Now I have trouble sleeping if it's TOO dark!
Similarly the traffic noise, I'm so used to it, I notice when it's missing (which isn't often)
I'm going to have a problem shortly when I go to Tassie for a fortnight. The first night's camp is as far south as you can drive and I doubt they'll be street lights or traffic noise.

I find it very beautiful and good compensation for not observing.

Love it, particularly combined with a cool breeze blowing in the window.
Full moon lighting up the room through our double sliding doors to the upstairs verandah and the frogs croaking away at the dam.
Love it
Total darkness for me. ;) I can't stand any form of even the faintest light getting in. I have a street lamp just outside my bedroom window that I wish someone would throw a rock at. I'd have a go, but knowing my luck I'd accidentally hurt some poor unsuspecting fellow watching tv. :screwy:
It's interesting that all the girls commenting so far, sleep in darkness.

No total darkness for me so I draw the blinds , plus I have trees that block most of the moonlight:)

Someone voted and revived this thread, so .....
Many, many summers ago, in a city apartment, after coming home from a party, my girlfriend insisted on leaving the curtains open on our floor-to-ceiling glass windows/sliding door so the moonlight would stream into the bedroom. In my state, that seemed like a really good idea.
Long after daybreak, I woke up to look out across our balcony to the apartments across the laneway. It seems that sometime in the night my girlfriend had kicked off the covers on her side of the bed (nearest the window) and was, unknowingly, displaying her own heavenly body to the three young gentlemen on the balcony opposite, who seemed to be enjoying the view immensely.
That was the last time I slept with open curtains, moonlight or not!

I don't care much for moonlight, but I do like the sunlight reflected off the Moon ;)

I love the light, be it from the tv or the moon or the sun. I'm a shift worker so I have to sleep under any conditions.
I do hate total silence and darkness, eg blackouts or forgot to pay the electricity bill.

I especially like it when the Moon is low and the light reaches deep into the room. :)
Definitely love it. I find the silver of the moonlight to be one of the simplest and most beautiful things that nature has to offer :D
