My son, sent me this image-I know there are quite a few aerospace workers and pilots etc here.
So he asked me to post here, for viewpoints and feed back.He told me about it on the phone and was rather excited.I did not expect the images to look like this.He got a whole series and will paste them together to make little vid.
He saw the 747 on some 'airplane tracker' thing of the internet, and could see it was at Gold Coast,so would be passing Coopers Plains with in minutes, and set up gear as the 747 came into view a tiny cessna came to land in at Archerfield. He indeed up with quite an interesting image.
Taken with a Canon 600D and very budget level 90-300 mm.
Image 1 orginal JPEG,image 2 a bit of a polish up.
Height of planes 747 approx 3000-3500 ft
cessna 172 1000-1500 ft
Its fairly rare fore 747's to come into Brisbane, and double that for a flight path over Joel's house.
So is always happy to even see one,but get a good image, with no clouds and blue sky (that's the really hard bit)
and a cessna thrown is as well, looks rather interesting.
