Tsuchinshan-Atlas 2023 passing galaxies

Here is another comet image. Before the clouds became too troublesome, I had an 1 hour imaging on 29 May with a CFF140 fitted with 2600mc with the AM5 mount complaining because I used no guiding for the comet. I have shrunk the image a bit to ensure it would post.

This image is a composite of the Astropixel processor comet-stacked image and the normal or star-stacked image. I think I have the galaxies correctly identified, but tell me if they are wrong. I had not realized they were in the field when I was imaging so it was nice to pick them up.

Thanks for the comment Joe. I am pleased you thought it worth posting.

And while I am here, I also thank Astrobob for his comment on my previous comet focused Tsuchinshan-Atlas and 12P Pons-Brook post

That’s a great shot and well timed (even if by accident!) to include a couple of interesting galaxies in the mix. I’m eager to see how this one develops later in the year
