Blue Horseyhead Nebula - IC 4592

Shot this with Rokinon 135mm @ F2.8 attached to an ZWO 533MC pro. All mounted atop an Ioptron SGP with guiding too. 5h 42m of 3 min subs. All taken from my backyard in Dunedin in bortle 4/5 skies. Processed in PixInsight and polished a little using RawTherapee. I reckon the Rokinon lens produces such impressive, sharp images!

Very nice. The Blue Horsehead Nebula is one of my all time favourite reflection nebulas, and you've done it justice! I cannot wait till we get good enough weather here to give this another go this year.

That is a very deep blue horsehead. Great work.

Beautiful image indeed! When I upgrade my main imaging camera, I'll be using my IMX294 camera on the back of a 135~180mm camera lens to get a wider view... I'm really looking forward to that!!

Cheers for that guys, this turned out much better than an image I took of it a few years ago with more basic equipment!

I like it, maybe a little dark on the background but overall a nicely crafted image.
