Lagoon and Trifid 2 panel Mosaic in HaRGB

After my reasonable success haphazardly putting together a 2-Panel Mosaic of the Lagoon in SHO last year, I set my sights on including the ever-wonderful Trifid nebula into this years attempt.

In an effort to expand my repertoire, I've opted for something a little more traditional and shot this in HaRGB.

Taken with an ASI2600MM through ANTLIA Pro-LRGB and 4.5nm Ha filters behind a Tak FSQ106-ED on an AM5.

I've got about 10 hours of Data total on each Panel, with a bunch taken over the recent full moon; because we've had very little good weather this year, I wasn't going to let any clear nights go to waste.

Click Here to see it large on Astrobin.

Clear Skies, Thanks for looking, and Enjoy!

I agree with Greg, also classic because it has that colour film look to it too, so something different and I am fond of the old colour film days, when astrophotography was analogue and bloody hard, when men were men and astrophotographers were..?..craaaazy and worked bluudy hard for their results, IIIII like it, nice work

It's such a beautiful region, i had no idea there was so much intricate nebulosity outside of the major nebulas!
