M16 - ZWO Seestar in Bortle 2 skies

My first ever imaging from bortle 2 skies. I needed something extra portable so I got myself a ZWO seestar as despite all it's limitations it fits in a small box and can be used with pretty well no setup.

I only had a small window between clouds but I tried both no filter and using the built in filter. Both images are circa 5 mins each of 10s exposures.

Interestingly the filter stopped star bloat and made for a better picture IMO. Given more data it may well change but I also did the lagoon nebula M8 and got the same result for 5min of data.

As for the Seestar - it has serious limitations but zero regrets.
