NEO Asteroid "2024 ON" flyby this morning, 18 September.

Overnight, September 17/18, I managed to get about 4 hrs sleep from 10pm until 2am. Then I got up and it took me about 30 mins to get ready to start capturing and I captured time lapse from from 230am onwards.

The sequence was captured with a DSLR @ ISO400 15s with a 300mm ED f4 lens at 3 minute intervals, the limiting magnitude of my system was around 14.5.

The field of the 300mm lens was big enough to capture from midnight to dawn. However, I slept until 2am and the faint little asteroid (mag 12.5) was so tiny on the frame that I decided to crop in only on the 47 Tucana flyby section to enhance visibility. Consequently there are only about 15 frames covering a 45 minute window.

Hey, don't blame me, I'm just using units in common use in the media.
