The conditions have been woeful the last week but still attempted some lunar imaging in and around perigee on the 18-19th Sept.
18th Sept - some closeups on the North-Western lunar limb @ 99.4%
c14 @ f11 with the asi178mm & IR685 filter
Very unstable conditions and so jumpy I had severe troubles with the stacking in AS!4. Love the rugged terrain and the almost 'landscape' appearance as you look from such a shallow angle. Other than Pythagorus, had trouble identifying some of these craters/features?!?
19th Sept - 4 panel mosaic of the moon @ 100%
c14 @ f7 with asi2600mc Pro (no filter)
Even worse conditions than the day before, but not such an impact since looking at the wider view. Includes some colour saturation in LR.
Higher Res Version
ASICAP
AS!4
Registax6
Light Room
ICE (mosaic)
Hoping for some better conditions over the next few days...
Thanks for looking!!
