Pray for Alex

I have just had a very short message from Alex, who for the first time has indicated his time maybe short. He has been in hospital for heart related issues, in addition to his ongoing Chemo treatments which have been going on the past couple of months. If your a believer in the power or prayer, or sending positive energy his way, he needs whatever you can summons.

Thanks for the heads up Glen.

I’ve known Alex on here for longer than I’ve known many of my face-to-face friends in real life.

I’m not a believer in the conventional sense, but my thoughts and prayers go right out to Alex at this difficult time.

Fingers crossed the old rascal pulls through - again !

Sorry to get everyone one worried but I was just giving Glen feed back from my situation..which was disturbing..a group of doctors nurses and family telling me I am dieng in effect and me passing that on to Glen...but you know how people can be thinking the worst..just because I balled up and went Ito possum mode they thought that was it...I needed to draw on something I know that I have and bounce back..and ended the day in pusuum mode..but awoke bright and happy making a new todo list...
AND they put me in a wonderful new single room with a superb view..so what's not to like.

I just need to rally the troops on the positive like living not dieing..it's coming bit let's not rush it will be the message.

You have to take it easy Alex, the new guitar is no good without someone to play it.

Glad to hear that you have decided to hang around for a bit longer Alex, the place wouldn't be the same if you went somewhere else. You can hear some more Judas Priest riffs now too.

Hi Alex,

I've got my assistant Igor digging into that for you. See what he comes up with later tonight.

As for prayers, I definitely won't be doing that, and for heaven's sake, if I
should ever fall sick, please don't do it for me.

There have been a couple of big studies, including that 2006 Harvard study.

Found prayer provided no benefit to the recovery of patients who had
undergone cardiac bypass surgery.

In fact, the study found patients who knew prayers were being said for
them had more complications after surgery than those who did not know.

The complications were minor, and doctors surmised that they could have
been caused by the increased stress on patients worried that their
conditions were so bad they needed prayers.

In any case, I have my lucky rabbit's foot here which you are welcome to borrow.

In the meantime, take care and enjoy that view.

Gary

Phew, that was close! Glad you're enjoying the view. Spare lungs? Try searching on Amazon or eBay, but please avoid Temu or Wish!
