That is a stunning image Peter!
I figured you've used a fish-eye lens but what gear did you capture it with?
I don't have a dedicated fish eye just some small adapters which go on other lenses but nothing which captures quality like this.
Now I want to go outside and play and see if any of them fit on a lens on my D810. Lucky for me it's overcast, good excuse for not getting a lousy image. Though I think my adapters only fit my old Panasonic FZ50 not so compact compact camera. Not sure they'd fit any of my Nikon lenses but I'm going to have a look. I do have one times .8 but it only fits my 300mm lens, not quite fish eye enough.
My images never look like yours!
Edit: I must learn to scroll down.

What was the exposure time if you don't mind my asking?
I didn't know what an EOSRa was, I do now.
