How do you Post a New Thread?

If you're unsure on how to post a New Thread, this little guide will help you.
The screenshot attached will compliment the instructions here so please open it as well.

First, make sure you're logged in. You can tell you're logged in by looking in the top right corner of the forum. If you're logged in, it will say 'Logged in as XXX'. If you're not, you'll see the Username and Password boxes.
When you login, press the Remember Me checkbox so you don't need to keep logging in, and so your cookie doesn't expire halfway through posting your thread.

Second, make sure you're in the sub-forum you want to post in. For example, if you want to post a question about Equipment, click on the "Beginners Equipment Discussions" or "Equipment Discussions" forums.

Lastly, click the "New Thread" button on the top left of the forum (see screenshot). Enter your subject, text, add any attachments, and then click Submit.

You'll be taken to the thread you just posted. To see your thread in the list, click on the sub-forum heading again and you'll see your thread there.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers

Thanks for this, Mike. I wasn't sure on how to go about spamming -- now I do!

In all seriousness, simple things like this might help new people or lurkers to join the fold.
