Registax issues

Has anyone successfully gotten Registax to work under Windows 7 64 bit?

The INSTANT I hit Align, it immediately pops up an out of memory error. Now, I have a boot load of RAM, so I know this is an error, since obviously Registax is NOT wanting to access all RAM under a 64 bit system.

Any ideas?

Hmmmm. Maybe the tiffs are too large for it?

I'll downsize them and see.

I will keep using DSS.

I use registax on my laptop using windows 7, 64bit. I use very large files coming off my iaging source cam with no issues at all aswell as having other programs running in the back ground. On my old PC I used to have the same error message you speak of pop up....I got my pc looked at as it started getting very frustrating..... the only issue they found was I had a corupt hard drive......I replaced it and have had no issue since on that PC.....I doubt yours would be the same issue but that caused me the same issues as you......
