Expression of Interest – Pentax XW bino viewer pairs for high power lunar and planetary viewing
I am very much in two minds about selling these as these eyepieces throw up extremely sharp planetary and lunar features. However, we are currently in the process of downsizing our residence, and therefore really needing to consolidate all of my gear.
Pentax XW series of eyepieces provide 70 degree afov together with a generous 20mm eye relief.
I have been using these pairs in my Baader Maxbright II bino-viewer and have no issue merging at high powers.
The set comprises of the following
- Pair of XW10
- Pair of XW7
- Pair of XW5
- Pair of XW3.5
The eyepieces are in pristine, as-new condition.
The eyepieces come with a pelican-style case with kaizen foam to keep them secure and safe.
In addition, all 8 eyepieces come with their original packing including boxes, caps and bolt-cases.
Inspection/pickup is more than welcome (Grange SA 5022).
Price $2,800
Postage/insurance is available via Australia Post and would be at buyers expense.
At this point I will not consider splitting, as I am not fully convinced that I can “live without them”.
