Dolphin Head Nebula (SH2-308)

Glad to be finished with this target. It consists of about 7 hours of data captured and processed as HOO.
No calibration frames used this time. I was having trouble with the darks and just decided to skip them 🙂

Hi Pengo,

Of the image you've posted this week, this one is the best (to my eyes). Lots of colour, plenty of detail, and great processing.

Very well done on all of them.

Cheers,
V.

I've yet to master this one, so I'm always impressed with those that can reveal so much detail and colour in this elusive but spectacular nebula. Well done Pengo, a very good result and those 7 hrs of integration have rewarded you with a lovely image.
